Wouldn’t it be complementary?

Explanation:

It is since the two angles add up to 90 degrees. If they were vertical angles they would be opposite and be made by intersecting lines. Complementary angles - Angles next to each other that add up to 90 degrees. Supplementary angles : Angles that are next to each other adding up to 180 degrees.
