What is the value of the expression "two less than six times the difference of a number and five" when n = 9?

I’m assuming that by n = 9 you mean the number in the expression is 9.

If we do this in steps it becomes quite simple, first let’s find the difference between the number and five,

9 - 5 = 4

Next you have to times that difference by 6,

4 * 6 = 24

Now we find what two less than that number is,

24 - 2 = 22
