The value of the probability is 3/20

From the data given ;

The number of people who swim would be ;

  • n(Swim u Run) - n(Swim n Run) - n(Run)

Now we have ;

n(swim.only) = 65 - 30 - 5 = 30

P(selecting person that can swim) :

  • 30 / total surveyed

We have ;

30/200 = 3/20.

Hence, the probability is 3/20
