a. What should the total of all of the probability be?

  • it is 100% which is equal to 1

b. What is the probability of eating no cookies?

  • 23% as per table (23% against 0)

c. What is the probability of eating two or fewer cookies?

  • 23% (for 0 )+0.16 (for 1)+16/50 (for 2)= 0.23+0.16+0.32= 0.71 = 71%

d. What is the probability of not eating 2 cookies?

  • 1-16/50= 34/50= 0.68 = 68%
