For the first number we have 10 options.

For the second number we also have 10 options.

for the third number we also have 10 options

The total number of combinations is equal to the product of the number of options for each selection, this is:

Combinations = 10*10*10*10 = 100*100 = 10,000.

So out of 10,000 possible combinations, you have 5.

Then the odds of winning is the quotient between the combinations that you have and the total number of combinations: p = 5/10,000 = 0.0005
