-5y = 4y - y -29 +5 + x {Add the like terms}

-5y = 3y - 24 + x {subtract 3y form both sides}

-5y - 8y = 3y - 24 + x - 3y

-13y = x - 24

Divide both sides by (-13)

y = (x-24)/-13

y = -(x-24)/13
