You are a police officer. Your best friend who is a murderer asked for your help to cover up his mess. Unfortunately, you are one of the officers assigned to arrest him. Using deontological ethics in deciding this situation, what would you prefer to do?

In this sort of a case I would proceed to answer to him that I will help and go get him some clothes from my car to change his look. I would then proceed to announce the need of several 10-32s to the 20 of the house Code-2 response. I would then act as if I am trying to help him while the backup patrols are en route to assist. When the assistance arrives I would proceed to pull out a firearm of any sort from my holster ordering the friend to put his hands in the air and face away the officers performing a HRS.
