Answer:

Largest possible value for the 3rd side can be 22.

Explanation:

Property of sides of a triangle:

If two sides of a triangle are
a and
b long, then the length of third side
c must be:

(a+b) > c

i.e. the sum of two sides
a and
b must be greater than the third side
c.

So, to find the largest possible value:

a = 8\\b= 15

a+b=23

Largest possible value of
c can be lesser than 23.

i.e. 22 can be the largest possible value of the third side.
