Answer: The area is 9π unit squared ( in terms of π)

Explanation:

From the equation for area of a circle, A = πr²

Where A is the area of the circle

r is the radius of the circle

From the question, the radius, r of the circle is 3

r = 3

Therefore, the Area of the circle is given by

A = π × (3)²

A = π×3×3

A = 9π unit squared ( in terms of π)

Hence, the area is 9π unit squared

OR

Since π is given as 3.14

Then,

A = 3.14 × (3)²

A = 3.14 × 3 × 3

A = 28.26 unit squared

Hence, Area is 28.26 unit squared (in decimal)
