Rita pumped 42 gallons of water into her pool. This was done over a period of 6 minutes at a constant Rate. What was the change in the amount of water in the pool each minute ​

7 Gallons every minute

Explanation:

We know that a total of 42 gallons of water was pumped for 6 minutes at a constant rate. Constant rate means that it will always pump the exact same amount of water each time. Eince its at a constant rate we just need to find out how much water was poured over the course of a minute, which can be done by dividing 6 (minutes) by 42 (gallons of water) = 7 gallons of water.
