5x+7/2=3/2x-14 please help me with this

x = 5

Explanation:

5x + 7/2 = 3/2x - 14

like terms together;

5x - 3/2x = -14 - 7/2

7/2x = 35/2

divide both sides by the reciprocal of the fraction next to the unknown

divide by 2/7

x = 5
