y = - 6 is a horizontal line parallel to the x- axis passing through all points with a y- coordinate of - 6

under a reflection in this line the x- coordinate of the point V is the same

V (- 5, - 2 ) with y- coordinate - 2 is 4 units above y = - 6

the reflected point will therefore be 4 units below y = - 6, that is - 10 , then
