Answer: They were both killed by racist officers and the incidents resulted in public outrage and protests. The differences is that Castile's killer still remains free but was removed from the force while Derek Chauvin was found guilty of all three charges of unintentional second-degree murder, third-degree murder, and second-degree manslaughter and he was sentenced to 22+1⁄2 years in prison which is 10 years more than the sentencing guideline of 12+1/2 years in prison which was well deserved justice for not only his family but for the black community as well.
