0.50. The probability that a member plays trombone, given that he or she is in
the brass section, is 0.24.
What is the probability that a randomly selected band member is in the brass
section and plays trombone?

the answer is C. 0.26

Explanation:

Because 0.50 + 0.24 is 0.74 and I'm guessing it goes to 1.0

So you subtract 1.0 from 0.74 to get 0.26
