1. Manufacturing systems may be classified into types, such as customized production, batch production, and continuous production. Describe examples of how each product type is applied; cite examples of products that are produced as customized, batch, and continuous.
2. The interchangeability of parts increases the effectiveness of manufacturing processes. Describe situations where parts are developed to be interchangeable and why this is important for industry.
