They number of possible total points are; 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26 and 27.

Explanation:

This is a zero-sum sort of deal. If tina makes 9 baskets, they can be all 2 points or all 3 points.

Let's make some number of 2 points "n". Then, the number of 3 points has to be 9 - n. The logic is exactly the same if we considered the number of 3 points made to be "n".

Thus, the maximum of this relationship is when n = 0.

Hence, 9 baskets gives the following possible permutations:

1) 0 number of 2 points and 9 number of 3 points = 27 points

2) 1 number of 2 points and 8 number of 3 points = 26 points

3) 2 number of 2 points and 7 number of 3 points = 25 points

4) 3 number of 2 points and 6 number of 3 points = 24 points
