Answer:

y=4x+5

Explanation:

Liner graph, therefore, y=mx+b; b is the y intercept; m is the slope

b=5, another pair is (-1,1)

need to find m first

Substituting we get:

⇒1= m(-1) + 5

⇒1= -1m + 5

⇒1-5= -m

⇒-4 = -m

⇒m=4

Eq: y=4x+5

Choosing points (0;5) and (-2;-3) so we have
X = 0, Y = 5
X = -2, Y = -3

Equation: Y = aX + b
Using point 1:
5 = a0 + b
=> b = 5

Then again
Y = aX + b
-3 = a(-2) + 5
-3 - 5 = -2a
- 8 = -2a
=> a = 4

Y = 4X + 5
