1. It shows that even if someone has been killed for stating their movement, that movement wont die as long as their are people that want to carry that movement and idea.

2. Thats hard to say because all civil rights achievements were equally important to lay a foundation of the rights that are still being laid down today. But, when they stopped the seperation of schools, things changed because every child didnt feel like they were better, they all were equal
