The amount of missing salsa is 471.4

How to get the missing salsa left in the jar

To get the missing Salsa we have to start by subtraction

10 cm - 4 cm = 6 cm

To get the floor area we use

\pi r^(2)

= π * 5²

= 25π

The volume can be gotten by

25π * 6

= 150π

= 471.4

The amount of missing salsa is 471.4

Answer:

Explanation:

The Salsa jar has a cylindrical shape. We would determine the volume of Salsa that the jar normally contains and the volume left in the jar by applying the formula for determining the volume of a cylinder which is expressed as

Volume = πr²h

Where

r = radius

π = 3.14

For normal volume,

h = 10 cm

r = 5 cm

Volume = π × 5 × 10 = 50π cm³

For volume left,

h = 4cm

Volume = π × 5 × 4 = 20πcm³

Missing volume = 50πcm³ - 20πcm³ = 30π cm³ = 30 × 3.14 = 94.2 cm³
