Therefore, total surface area of this ramp = Area of the triangular sides + Area of the base + Area of the vertical side + Area of the slanting side

Area of the triangular sides =

Area of the rectangular base = Length × Width

= 4 × 8

= 32 square feet

Area of the vertical side = Length × Width

= 3 × 8

= 24 square feet

Area of the slanting side = Length × width
