In this problem we are expected to find the side of the square shape.

we know that the area of the square is expressed as


area= length * width

but a square shape has all sides equal hence


area= length* length\\


area= l^(2)

substituting our area and squaring both side to find l we have


64= l^(2) \\l= √(64) \\l= 8 ft
