The answer is 4 beats
Assuming this is in common 4/4 time one whole not is 4 beats so 4 + 1 for the quarter and another 1 for the two eighth notes (each is .5 beats) gives you 6 then you subtract 2 beats from 6 for the half note leaving you with 4 beats
