Given:

  • Area of garden ( parallelogram) = 336 ft²

  • Height = 16 ft

To find out:

Find the base of parallelogram in feet?

Formula used:

Area of parallelogram = Base × Height

Solution:

Area of parallelogram = Base × Height

☆Putting the value in the above formula, we get

⇒ 336 = Base × 16

⇒ Base = 336/16

=> Base = 21

Hence, the base of given parallelogram is 21 feet

Answer:

21 ft

Explanation:

The area of a parallelogram is given by

A = bh

336 = 16*b

Divide each side by 16

336/16 = 16b/16

21 =b
