The amount of juice that would be required is 301.44 cm³

Using the formula for the volume of a cylinder;

  • π × r² × h
  • h = height = 12
  • radius, r = 8/2 = 4

Inputting the values into the formula;

Volume = 3.14 × 4² × 12

Volume = 602.88 cm³

When half- filled;

  • Volume / 2

602.88 / 2 = 301.44 cm³
