Remember, this is a true life of a man–John Moore who had cancer and he felt wronged when he discovered that doctors used his cells to create the Mo cell line without his consent.

This led him to sue the doctors as well as the University of California, although in the end his lawsuit was unsuccessful as the Supreme court of California ruled against him in 1991. Something of note about this case is that it shares similar characteristics with that of Henrietta Lacks case–in which doctors failed to give her informed consent about the use of her cells in cancer research.
