The French and Indian war actually was between France and the country of India, neither was it between France and the Native American. The Indians (Native Americans) were actually on France's side when fighting against the British! The French and Indian war was a long feud between the England and France over the Ohio Territory. This war is also known as the Seven Years War (even though it was longer than that but whatever) and this is also when George Washington began to become prominent! The British also won this war against the French, and this really was the war that made America because the entire war led to the British debt and them taxing the colonies and so on and so forth :D
