Explanation:

Parallel lines will have the same slopes but different b values so we know that the base of this equation will be

y = 9x +b

To find b we must plus in the given coordinates and determine which value of b makes the statement true.

16 = 9(11) + b

16 = 99 + b

b = -83

Therefore the new equation will be:

y = 9x -83 or y-16 = 9(x-11)
