A cone has volume V, radius r, and a height of 12 cm.

Another cone has the same height and 1/3 times the
radius of the original cone. Write an expression for its
volume.

2nd cone has:

Height = 12cm

r= 1/3r (cause it's given 1/3 of radius of the original cone)

We know that volume of a cone is = 1/3 pi (r)^2 h

Now substitute the values:

1/3 * pi* (1/3r)^2 * 12

when u simplify u will get

pi* 1/9*r*4 = 4/9 pi r

So, the answer is probably 4/9 pi r.
