x = -3/2 x=2

Explanation:

2x² - x-6=0

Factor

(2x ) (x ) =0

6 = 2*3

2*-2 +3 = -1

(2x +3 ) (x -2 ) =0

2x+3 =0 x-2 =0

2x = -3 x=2

x = -3/2 x=2
