Answer:

1. OSMOSIS: The movement of water molecules from a region of higher concentration to a region of lower concentration through a selectively- permeable membrane is called Osmosis.

2. EXOSMOSIS: When water moves out of the cell causing the cell to shrink in a hypertonic solution is called Exosmosis.

3. ENDOSMOSIS: When water moves inside the cell causing the cell to swell in a hypotonic solution is called Endosmosis.
