lim_(x \to 2) x^2 +8x -2

And using the properties of limit we got:


lim_(x \to 2) x^2 +8 \lim_(x \to 2) x - lim_(x \to 2) 2

And replacing we got:


2^2 + 8 (2) -2 = 4 +16-2 =18
