Perimeter of circle:2*pi*r
r=5
We want half of the perimeter.
2*pi*5/2
=5*pi

Radius of Semicircle ⇒ 5 units,

Diameter of Semicircle ⇒ 2 * 5 = 10 units,

Now if we were to imagine a complete circle, the length of this arc would be half of the circumference of the complete circle provided it ∈ to a semicircle. Therefore, if we are to calculate the length of the circumference of the complete circle given the diameter to have a length of 10, we can divide this by two to receive the arc length of the semicircle;

Circumference of Complete Circle ⇒ πd ⇒ 10π,

Arc length of Semicircle ⇒ 10π / 2 = 5π;
