Hi, Im doing a research paper on fear linked to social status, and id like to ask

people with Entomophobia, or fear of bugs, why do you fear bugs (more than one reason)
and do you tend to fit in and blend it, or stick out

I fear bugs because I do not like tiny things that move and I tend to scream out loud when a paper thin spider come out and people bully me about it so I do not fit in because of my fear of tiny bugs. I do not like the because they are tiny they move really fast and I fear they will harm me when they do not harm at all.

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

There are some common reasons why I have a fear of bugs. One of my reasons is the fact that I dislike the buzzing sound an insect may emit if they hover around my head (It gives a certain feeling as if it may go inside my ear canal). I also fear the fact that if I do get stung (I was never stung ever, don't plan to now) I would experience a severe allergic reaction because my body doesn't know what it feels like to get stung. My third reason is the way that some of them look, it gives off a certain vibe that makes them look a type of creepiness.

Most people I know don't know about my phobia, if they do they usually may laugh it off or joke about it. there is usually no sticking out feeling because of my phobia.
