  • Therefore, length of the second side =(x+1) foot

The length of the third side will be 1 foot longer than the length of the second side.

  • Therefore, length of the third side =(x+1+1)=(x+2) foot

Perimeter of the triangle = 63 feet

Adding the length of the sides

x+x+1+x+2=63

3x+3=63

3x=63-3

3x=60

x=20 feet

Therefore, the length of the third side = 20+2=22 feet
