Basically the equation would be:

y = mx

You only need the m or the slope of the line.

To know this, just count the rise/run from two points.

I chose two points given: (0,0) and (4,2)

From (0,0) to (4,2), you rise up by 4 and go left by 2 (negative 2 because it is going left).

rise/run

4/-2 = -2

m = -2

So the equation would be y = -2x
