Angle 1 can be represented by the expression 6x + 30. Angle 2 can be

represented by the expression 16x - 10. If the two angles are congruent,
write an equation to find the value of x

Since the 2 angles are congruent you can make them equal each other

6x+30 = 16x-10

Subtract 6x from the left and right

30 = 10x-10

Add 10 to both sides

40 = 10x

Now divide by 10

4 = x
