First take the derivative of the function

You will then get -> 2y (dy/dx) + (((x)(dy/dx) - (y)(1))/(x)^2 ) -1

Solve for dy/dx

You will then get -> dy/dx = (x^2+y)/(x+2x^2y)

Now plug in (1,2) into dy/dx

You should get 3/5
