The volume of a cylinder can be found using the formula V = pi r squared h.

A sphere and a cylinder have the same radius and height. The volume of the cylinder is 11 feet cubed.

A sphere with height h and radius r. A cylinder with height h and radius r.

Which equation gives the volume of the sphere?
V = four-thirds (11) pi
V = two-thirds (11) pi
V = four-thirds (11)
V = two-thirds (11)

The volume of sphere is 4/3
\pi r^3

The volume of the cylinder is
\pi r^2 h

As the height of cylinder is equal to its radius , its volume =
\pi r^3

Now from the formula , you can simply see that volume of sphere is 4/3 of the volume of the cylinder

Thus the answer is (c) 4/3 of 11
