The formula to find the standard deviation of a sample is given by :-


s=\sqrt{(SS)/(n-1)}

, where SS = Sum of square distance of data points from mean

n= Sample size.

As per given , we have

SS= 121

n= 12

Put these values in formula , we get


s=\sqrt{(121)/(12-1)}=\sqrt{(121)/(11)}=√(11)\\\\=3.31662479036\approx3.3

Hence, the required standard deviation = 3.3
