you then chose one of the point and fill in the equation y - y1 = m (x -x1)

So let's chose (3,3) and fill in.

y - 3 = 2 (x - 3)

y - 3 = 2x - 6

y - 2x = -6 + 3

y - 2x = -3

Hence, the equation of the line is y = 2x - 3
