15. In a class test, 3 marks are awarded for every correct answer and (-2) marks are awarded for every incorrect answer and no mark for not attempting any question.

i) Rita scored 20 marks. If she has got 12 correct answers, how many questions has
she attempted incorrectly?
ii) Savita scored (-5) marks though she has got 7 correct answers. How many questions
has she attempted incorrectly?

To Solve this, you need to take 3 the number awarded for correct, and multiply that by 12 the number of correct. Which gets you 36. Then yoou need to find the difference between20 and 36 which gives 16. Then youu need to divide that by 2 to get your ansewr of 8 in 1. Follow the same procces for ii.
