Answer: True.

Explanation:

The simpler example of this is the simpler rational function:

f(x) = 1/x

As x goes to zero from the right, the function will go asymptotically to ∞

while if x goes to zero from the left (negative region of the real values) the function will go asymptotically to -∞

So we have two vertical asymptotes.
