I really need help with this question

3. Solve n^2+ n-12 by factoring. *
n= 6, n=-2
n=4, n= -3
n=-6, n= 2
n=-4, n=3

Explanation:

n^2+ n-12

What 2 numbers multiply to -12 and add to 1

4*-3 = -12

4-3 =1

(n+4) (n+3) =0

Using the zero product property

n+4 = 0 n-3 =0

n = -4 n=3
