Oliva has signed up for snowboarding lessons. Her parents set a limit of 400$ for costs for the season. It costs 250$ to get a mountain pass plus 9.5$ for each practice session. What is the maximum number of practice sessions that Olivia can go to?

Answer:

15

Explanation:

So, to solve this I made this is 400> or equal to 250+9.5x. X being the number of times she goes to the practices.

400> or equal to 250+9.5x

-250 -250

150 > or equal to 9.5x

/9.5 /9.5

15.789> or equal to x

If you then simplify that, you get 15 because you can't necissarily take .789 of a lesson.

Hope this helps!
