Answer: The rental cost for each movie is $1.75 and the rental cost of each video game is $6.75.

Explanation:

7m + 9g = 73 where m is cost of movie and g is the cost of video games

5m + 3g = 29 solve by elimination

7m + 9g =73

-3(5m + 3g)= 29(-3)

7m + 9g = 73

-15m -9g= -87

-8m = -14

m= 1.75

Substitute the value of m into the equation 7(1.75) + 9g= 73

12.25+ 9g= 73

-12.25 -12.25

9g= 60.75

g = 6.75
