In China, a single party, the communist party, controls the government. This means that other political parties are not allowed and most people do not have an opportunity to participate in government people who speak out against the government are jailed without trial and prisoners have no rights to an attorney if a hearing or an appeal there is no freedom of the press and the Internet is censored.
