Thymus is made up of two lines of lymphoid tissue, each line has a medulla surrounded by a vortex where immature lymphocytes first go to become T cells, but their maturation finishes in the medulla.
The spleen filters blood, removing old damaged red blood cells which are phagocytize by macrophages.
The tonsils help fight infections but removing
The appendix doesn’t have much of function but does release mucus into the large intestine.
