As morals are not objective or standardized, these come from a great variety of sources, some of which can present contradictory or conflicting information. One of the most important influences in our lives when it comes to morals are our parents. They often teach us what they consider to be right and wrong. However, other influences include our extended family, school, society, media, art and religion.
I consider that the most important influence in determining what is right and wrong for me are my parents. My parents have raised me in a way that matches their beliefs, as well as those of the community and society that we live in. This process is known as socialization.
