Answer:

34y^8-19y^3 = 15y^5

z^4-z^7 = z^-3

Then the only function left is +33

= 15y^5z^3 +33 This written as bold as the answer.

We leave out the negative and keep z positive.

Hopefully this helps as the question asks you to factor 3 terms.

You show it as

34y^8z^4-19y^3-z^7 +33 = 15y^5z^3 +33

if both values y and z were the same then we would show z = 1 and y = 5 but as we dont know their value only they are a multiple even as a negative we show a polynomial as a factorize 3 exponents as an increase so z^-3 = z^3. We know its an increase as +33 is at the end. So the question just is observational and is standard factorization for 3 terms. There is no multiplication and we just subtract the like terms and do what we can to keep the negative positive.

A polynomial is a combination of terms separated by + or − signs. A polynomial does not contain variables raised to negative or fractional exponents, variables in the denominator or under a radical, or any special features such as trigonometric functions, or logarithms.
