Answer:

the main reason for its explosion was because of human error but it was mostly because of a sudden power surge within the plant, it begin when they started reducing power at reactor No. 4 when they were trying to run the safety test, they had also turned off the plants cooling system so that it didnt interfere with the testing.the reason for the power surge being the peculiarity design of the control rods that were they inserted into the reactor another reason was because of the poor construction materials that were used to build this plant,

therefore it was a result of a flawed reactor design that was operated with inadequately trained personnel. and a sudden power surge is what caused the disaster

Answer:

The April 1986 disaster at the Chernobyla nuclear power plant in Ukraine was the product of a flawed Soviet reactor design coupled with serious mistakes made by the plant operatorsb. It was a direct consequence of Cold War isolation and the resulting lack of any safety culture.
